Even being a bona fide legend on the bass fishing circuit is no guarantee you won’t be subject to the wrath of an angry Karen.

That’s exactly what happened to Mike Iaconelli, who shared a YouTube video of him being harassed by a woman while fishing a dock on a lake shore during a tournament.

As he fishes the dock, a woman emerges from a house on the bank of the lake and starts yelling at him presumably asking him to leave.

Mike pulls away from the dock using his electric and starts fishing up the bank as he leaves.

Just as the legenday bass pro thinks its safe to relax, the Karen returns to say all of the shore is effectively her property.

As Mike explains he was careful to avoid hitting any property with his lure and apologises, she continues to shout at him.

“I’ll leave, but it is my right to fish here.”

When the woman continues to harangue him, he eventually changes his mind.

“Now I was gonna leave nice before but I’m not leaving now. You can call the cops, call the  DNR, call the government or call Biden, you probably love him.”

Mike gloomily reflects on the encounter in the description of the video.

“Can’t seem to get away from people that think they own the water! This lady was a real Karen! Not only was the fishing off but I was in the middle of an Open and she’s trying to chase me off a half mile section of docks! You Don’t Own the Water Karen!“
